What You Can Expect
Our Process:
STEP 1: Head to our contact page and reach out by either calling, emailing, or submit our contact form. We will reach out via phone within 24 business hours to get you scheduled.
Upon scheduling, you’ll be sent an email confirmation of the appointment as well as a link to access our new patient paperwork on our portal. In order to maximize time with your therapist, we ask that you please have this completed by the evening before your appointment day. We will automatically receive it, once it is completed, so no need to print it out!
STEP 2: Come to your initial evaluation where you’ll meet your physical therapist who is not only a pelvic health specialist, but has ample training and experience in treating all areas of the body. We will discuss your concerns and goals, perform an evaluation, and start working on things to get you feeling better. You’ll have things provided, in a folder, to start working on at home in order to make progress between visits.
When you arrive to our building, look for our suite which is on the EAST side of the building, facing Walgreens and Federal Highway. There is plenty of parking directly in front for you!
Wear anything you are comfortable moving in. We have gowns to change into, as needed.
STEP 3: At this first visit, your therapist will come up with a visit frequency that would best serve you and work with your lifestyle. You’ll then schedule your follow-up visits before leaving.
In most scenarios, we recommend starting at a frequency of once per week or once every-other week, decreasing in frequency as you progress through therapy.
Between visits, you may reach the clinic by email or phone with questions regarding your home program.
Your second (and possibly third) visits will also include a continuation of your evaluation (as well as progress treatment) because we aim to be as comprehensive as possible.
Speaking of comprehensive, we utilize a 3 component approach that includes behavioral/lifestyle modifications, maintaining mobility/flexibility, and optimizing strength/stability. This is our whole person approach and ensures the highest quality of care.
